OK, I think I figured this one out too.
I was making wav files from my Pro Tools rig, I would save the wav file, then copy them into the MiDJay. Everytine I went to play the file it would say corrupt file.
So I took that same file and converted it into a MP3 and the MiDJay would play it fine,
so now I took the original wav file from Pro Tools and using a conversion program, converted the wav into a wav again, and guess what it works on the midJay, I guess from pro tools there was either something missing or something added that made the midjay not read it, I will be using them as mp3's anyway, another question, what have you found to be the accepltable bit rate for the least amount of loss in audio?
Thanks Frank

Hello Frank For portable players 128 is fine, for listening to the sounds on a normal system don’t go below 192, and if your using high end sound samples (Colossus, Giga samples etc) then anything less then 256 will be noticeable. Remember also that the higher the bit rate, the larger the file becomes, so you may need to choose a balance. BTW. If you can use WMA files then you can use a lower bit rate for the same quality of sound, (IE 192 becomes 160) and this will also give you smaller files. Hope this helps.
Bill
