In 2 or 3 years i ask maybe couple questions and usualy i get only couple answers from members in same situation as me, new members or members who dont want to discus about think you doing here... When looking into posts i can see only 10-15 ppl discusing and 99.9% of the time about same thing... i have better this,... this is better,.. i am better,.... nothing is better if you dont know how to use it... ex. My friend still plays on Roland E96... but his sicret it ,.. nobody knows,... he sounds the best, better than any PA G SD PSR... but thas my and his oppinion and somebody else maybe,.... But again thinking about other Forums music or non music related same as IRC chats or similar ... same thing is happening... this is not fair... Most of those if not all call themselfs help forums, channels or whatever... and again only 10-15 ppl are in game ... Dont understand,... I will continue comming here ... reading the posts , learning from other problems... but i will stop asking because i dont wana waste me keyboard ,............ SAD Sorry for my English .... , O thas the problem maybe? Thank you

hi EM2000,i live in spain so i wouldn,t know the answer to your question, the sales started in europe then to uk,over to ireland then onto the states,i don,t think you will have to wait much longer, i just realised you brought up a good point, because, if the tyros2 is made in japan, why is the distribution being made in the westernly direction rather than internationally?

Hi,
I just spoke with Long & McQuade (they have branches in all the major cities across Canada) here in Edmonton and I was told that it'll be some time before the T2 is released here. Apparently, Yamaha Canada were well behind other countries with the release of the T1 and other high-end boards, preferring to wait until everything is sorted out with operating systems, bugs, etc. That said, everyone on the zone with a T2 seems to be quite happy with it and aren't reporting much in the way of bugs and whatnot, so the guy might have been giving me a bit of a tale. As was suggested previously I think, your best bet is to keep an eye on Yamaha Canada's website (the T2 isn't on there yet).
Anyway, I don't know where you are in Canada, but if you're within spittin' distance of the U.S. border, it'll obviously be your best bet to look around down there. Yep, you'll get jacked with the customs duty and stuff, I guess, but you'll at least get your hands on your T2.
Good luck.

I don't know what price you may end up paying by buying in the U.S., but by the time you take into account the dollar exchange rate, plus any customs duty, and any subsequent warranty issues - i.e. having to go all the way back down there to drop off and collect the keyboard should any repairs become necessary, then it may turn out to be a more expensive proposition than by 'shopping local'. Of course, we don't yet know what the T2 will retail at in Toronto, but given the above considerations, it might be better to hang on for a month or two - Ian McNeill did say in his earlier post that it's expected up here in January/February. It all depends on your desperation level, I guess. (Hey, Ian - steam-powered, eh? Out here on the cold-ass prairie ours are powered by husky power doncha know )
