I don't know what price you may end up paying by buying in the U.S., but by the time you take into account the dollar exchange rate, plus any customs duty, and any subsequent warranty issues - i.e. having to go all the way back down there to drop off and collect the keyboard should any repairs become necessary, then it may turn out to be a more expensive proposition than by 'shopping local'.
Of course, we don't yet know what the T2 will retail at in Toronto, but given the above considerations, it might be better to hang on for a month or two - Ian McNeill did say in his earlier post that it's expected up here in January/February. It all depends on your desperation level, I guess.
(Hey, Ian - steam-powered, eh? Out here on the cold-ass prairie ours are powered by husky power doncha know
)
