Does anybody know of any software which displays the waveform of sound in realtime??
like if i use a line in or microphone to record sound and i could see whatever was being input in realtime??? (windows media player shows u the waveform of recorded stuff though..not in realtime..)
plz help..

Just curious as to why you would need such a thing?

Are you looking for a visualizer effect while you play, or are you needing spectrum analyzing for feedback suppression...... If we knew what you need it for, we could possibly help with the correct choice.

well,this might seem silly, but actually i might listen to some actual samples of instruments downloaded from the net and when i play the same instruments on my keyboard, ill see wat i can do to make the waveform match that of the actual instrument.. whether i can add a dual voice, reverb ,chorus stuff like that. mostly to get the best overdriven and distortion guitar sounds... btw do u guys know any cheap module or something which produces dsp effects(to connect to the sound output of the keyboard before it goes to the speakers)?? by cheap i mean less than $100..
