I'm using an SC88 to play my midi files, but I'm wondering if the new Motif rack would be an improvement. Are the guitar sounds similar to the Tyros and is there a map for the Motif in Cakewalk?

The only Mo rack is the Mo classic. The new MoES is the one with the mega guitars and it is not out in a rack model yet, if ever. There is an instrument definitions file available for Cakewalk though.
