Been a bit since I shopped for headphones... Was thinking about getting a new pair to go along with the 3000... Anyone have new takes on headphones... I've been using the sennheiser HD280 pro for the last 3 years...

Thanks

Hey Beach,

I remember George Kay giving a nice review of the models that Behringer offers.

I think the HPX2000 was one of them if I remember correctly. You can find those for $20 on the net.

I use Grado Labs, SR60, that I picked up quite awhile ago for $75. They're cheaper now.

So I will assume you picked up Scott Langholff's PSR3000. Looking forward to hearing some originals from you with the new keyboard.

Ultrasone is my vote. I know they're expensive, but they're worth every penny.

I don't work for them, but here's my sale pitch: Besides having superior sound, they are also the safest for your ears. They use a certain technology which sends the waves around the ear instead of directly into it, which saves your ears from a beating.

Your ears are microhpones. Very expensive ones. In fact the most expensive microhpone in the world, is not as good as your ears. The proof: your ears can tell the difference.

If you can spend thousands of dollars on mics, keyboards, equipment, studio, PA, etc, you should deffinitely consider investing good money on the safety of your ears. A microhpone you can replace; your ears only give you one chance!
