Today,I desired to remember my Hammond and Yamie organ times.
So,I was in search of my old one octave bass pedals.
Midi cable conected on 9000 and...
Uauuu....
No automatics, only the Yamie organ voices
Very,very nice sounds.
I could play Star dust,misty,secret love...
and all my bossa nova stock as 20 years ago.
Closed eyes... I was playing a Hammond.

I played also years ago "hammond organ".
the good old days of two manuals and a bass it's great !! Now when i play backgroundmusic in a restaurant i use always
my midi-pedalboard, the sound is much warmer and better for that kind of music. Only for dance-party's i use the intern/userstyles of the keyboard. Nice to know there are people
that's play in this way.

Hi. I also come from an organ background and still have an old Hammond M-100 spinet (and a 4 manual pipe organ console I'm slowly MIDI'fying, but that's another story).

How well do MIDI bass pedals work with the 9000? Does it pick up the bass note when playing auto-accompaniment as if it were the lowest note pressed on the left hand?

Does anyone make MIDI bass pedals besides Fatar and Roland? Does anyone make 25-32 note MIDI pedal boards?

I was playing the 9000 + pedal board bass :
9000 Kb wit 2 split points ( bb2 and b5 keys) So, I had 3 voices for RH :2 organ voices(split1)and 1 voice(split2), 1 voice for LH and 1 voice for pedals.3 voices for RH are a "Psr9000 version 3" feature .
Important: I was playing a polyphonic pedalboard!!!!
