I was thinking folks that, if I buy one of each of the Barbetta Sona se32 and the EVSX100, take them to a gig, and play one of them at a time; I should be able to easily determine which these two units make the grade.
Remember, the gap in price between these PAs is quite large ($689 vs $380 ea.) and the EV sx100 is worth considering, according to Scott, the difference could be very small in their response and performance, the gap in the price is just to big to ignore. Scott is quite sold on the EV and he has already owned the Mackie 450s as well.
So in short, I could buy one of each of the two brands with the condition of returning one of them. Once I make up my mind I can go for the set I like, then return or sell the one I don't care for. (George, please don’t hate me)
What do you think guys?
