Just wondering what you all were using in the way of sing along styles/registrations. I had sets put together for the 55 old songs my sing along book but they went adios when I sold me 9000PRO.

Any thought will be appreciated.

Richard, I use a nice Swing Fox beat
{eg: New York NY) for the singalongs....just link em together in a medley.

Thank you for sharing your insight on sing along sets. I thought I might get a number of different ideas on the subject but I guess sing alongs are not to popular anymore. The old timers I play for get a big kick out of remembering the old tunes. If you'd like a copy of my sings along book please let me know and I'll send you the file.

My friends get together once a year for a week and we jam/sing along every evening. We have been using the book "Rise Up Singing" since it lists quite a few song lyrics with chords and almost everyone of us has a copy.
I usually go with an neutral rock or 3/4 beat or somethings standard depending on the song. If you check the PSR2000 tutorial pages you will see under the Music Finder section lists of songs and peoples' preferred styles and tempo.
Hope that helps.

RICHARD: I would like to get a copy of your singalong files please.

I sing at nursing homes, and I am still guessing as to what songs my audience will enjoy most. I call what I do "Singalong," but in fact I do most of the singing. My elderly listeners mostly just listen. A few make an effort to join in.

Any suggestions you have about what works willl be most appreciated.
