Hi All,
Does anyone have the chords to 'I'm always chasing rainbows' and or 'Sonny Boy'?

I know these are oldies but I love em. I would be most grateful if anyone can help me out.

I know that Judy did rainbows and I have no idea who did Sonny Boy.

I'm sure none of you are old enough to remember but maybe some of you are classy enough
Best to all

SOMEWHERE I have them in a fake book. I'll try to find it.
I'll bet if you go to the PSR2000 page: http://psrtutorial.com/
and ask Joe, he will have it. He is very well organized.

Wasn't Sonny Boy, the Andrews Sisters?

Hello all and thanks for the replies.
I have been having another trawl for the chords as yet to no avail so I may take you up on your kind offer mr82thebar...(your name ALWAYS makes me think of Bette Midler singing Bugle boy ). I may yet get a little further now I know who wrote it tho

Don if your music collection is anything lke mine 'Somewhere' is a euphamism for about five years down the pile of books, sheet music, magazines that take up so much space in my music room.

Again many thanks to all.

Hi Tony,

I'm Always Chasing Rainbows was a joint effort with lyrics by Joseph McCarthy and music by Harry Carroll.

Sonny Boy was also a joint effort with words and music by Al Jolson, B.G. De Sylva, Lew Brown and Ran Henderson.

If you don't come up with the music email me and I'll send you copies of both.

Wasn't the melody of "I'm Always Chasing Rainbows" taken from a classical piece? There's something familiar about it, but I'm at a loss as to putting a title to it. It's gonna drive me nuts now.

According to http://www.spiritofsinatra.com/pages/Lyrics/i/Im_Always_Chasing_Rainbows.htm , "rainbows" is "Adapted from: Fantasie Impromptu in C Sharp Minor - Chopin"
