I have used BIAB on and off again for many years. The one feature they have never added is the ability to detect chords played in realtime from the keyboard. Until it can do that and allow for other realtime features such as changing style variations on the fly and registration buttons I don't see it replacing arrangers. Obviously the technology is not beyond PGMusic's reach and having a wireless control device is a great step in that direction. A QWERTY keyboard doesn't cut it in live performances. (OMB software guys will jump at that comment
) PGMusic has simply choosen to go the direction of prep the song first before you play.
There have always been BIAB nay sayers. PGMusic in the meantime keeps rolling alone, year after year, release after release. Their products seem to appeal to many.
