Well, it's a bit disappointing. While there are 100 more styles than on the original Tyros, almost all of these styles have been available for a long time. They were released on the Tyros Premium disk last year. And the PSR3000 has most of them. I haven't done an actual count, but I think the actual number of new styles is about 20-25. http://www.svpworld.com/tyros2styles.htm Now, I have heard that Yamaha has revoiced many (all?) of the old styles to take advantage of the much larger number of Megavoices in the T2. And, the OTS settings have been redone to include the Super Articulation voices.
So, the sly thing on Yamaha's part is that if you have an older Yamaha keyboard, the new T2 will play. However, they will be missing all the new voices. If you change them to your available voices, they will sound like the old Tyros voices. Only the owners of the new Tyros2 will hear the styles properly.
