Hi all,
Does anyone have dmos or know where to find demos of the voice processor in the PA1XPro? I have listened to the demos on the Korg PA website, but it would be very interesting to hear how a voice sounds from the beginning before the processor. Many thanks!

I have a PA1X with the upgraded voice processor. If you go to tc-helicon.com and check out the demos of the Voice Prism Plus you should get a pretty good idea of what the PA1X is capable of.

Hi
A bit off topic but close enough, to maybe answer the question that I have.
I have a bunch of Sound Choice karaoke files that contain a mp3 and cd+g file for each song.
mp3 is for the audio and the cd+g is basically the words or graphics that are displayed on the screen.
Will the korg keyboard play these kind of files? If So, can I use the Vocal Processor with this also?
Thanks

Ron

hi ron, firstly you need to purchase the MP3 board which is pretty simple to install...the only way to use the processor would be to somehow seperate the vocal onto a seperate track and route this into the processor line in,from prob the out 1 or 2 jacks (as these are dry independent outs) and then have it come back out the normal l/r main outs of the korg..i have used the vocal processor on occasions as outboard EFX for the bands vocals, on certain songs, but that was in a live situation, not with either midis or mp3's...it really gets down to how well you can seperate your vocal track, and if you REALLY want to bother!! although another ,method just popped into mind...as the pa has a dual sequencer, you could run a seperate mp3 thru sequencer 2 which just has the vocals and blend that with the main song mp3 thru sequencer 1???
though i dont know if all this would be really practical or would even work in practice...just some thoughts though

Thanks for all the replys........But I am still not sure about the Karaoke files....I am sure that the mp3 will be ok ( with the board installed ) but will the lyrics be shown?
If somebody wants me to send them the file to see if this does work, I will gladly do it..

Ron
