I wan't to play both Korg PA-50 sounds and Yamaha sounds during my live performance using PA-50 as MIDI master keyboard. My friend is having Yamaha PSR-740,PSR-2100 and PSR-3000 and i wan't to purchase any one of these keyboards. So which psr keyboard is more suitable for playing with Korg PA-50 sounds?

Thanks,
sunny.

Sunny,

Go with the 3000. It has more voices, lots of great features, and is far more advanced than any of the others.

Good Luck,

Gary

I have both PSR3000 & Korg PA50 on a dual stand. At the present time I play them separately but the can be midi together. The Korg is best as the master because the keybed is better quality than the 3K

Hello Gary &Graham,
Thanks for your views. Is PSR-3000 sound good when mixed with KORG pa-50 sounds?as i wan't to play PA-50 accordion(mussete1) voice and PSR-3000 strings, flutes, saxophones using MIDI cable.Previously i used to combine PA-50 and psr-740,as PSR-740 sounds are some what clean and excellent. So what about PSR-3000? how is the sound quality of PSR-3000 when compared to PSR-740 and PSR-2100?is psr-3000 sounds matches with PA-50?

Thanks,
sunny.

Hi, I also used the PSR 3000 and PA60, of course, each independently with it's own volume and sustain pedals, for almost a year I did that until I replaced my 3000 for the Tyros2, and I am still use the PA60 with my T2, soon, either the Ketron SD5 or another Korg product will replace my aging PA60.
I perform 10s-20s times every month and my audiences like that combination (me too), I did program lots of performances in the PA60(registrations), and also I use a most of the user memory (Styles), I did run out of space, and with the great feature of the Korg is that allows you to replace FACTORY styles you do NOT use, (example; Rap),I replaced with other style and so on. It works, if you make it work.
The 2 keyboards are VERY diferent, learnig how to get the most our of them, is very much like an artist (painter), this way you have more shades of color(sounds) and lots of styles in your pallete.
