Hi RolandLover,
Use whichever foot feels the most comfortable. When I am playing my B3 (and kicking bass pedals) I of course use my right foot on the volume pedal. But when I am playing my other rig, Promega 3 and Genesys Pro S, I use my left foot for the CCP's (continuous controller pedals). I use two CC pedals, one connected to each instrument. They sit side by side so I can either control each individually or place my foot across both and increase/decrease the value of whatever parameter these pedals are assigned to simultaneously.
I place the damper (sustain) pedals, one for each instrument to the right side by side so they can be used individually or simultaneously as well.
Which foot is more comfortable will depending on your background and what type of keyboard you grew up playing, organ or piano. I have played both for so long that I am equally comfortable with volume pedals and sustain pedals using either foot.
And to add to what Bill said above, don't make the mistake of tapping your foot in time with the music while your foot is on the pedal.
