The Z-2300 seems to do well with audiences to 75 people, while the Z-5500 will easily handle 125 people. Both provide outstanding sound quality, crisp vocals, gut thumping bass and incredible highs. Some folks claim they're light on the mids, but much of this depends on how you set your keyboard's EQs. Cheers, Gary ------------------ Travlin' Easy

While the Z-5300 has better mids than the Z-2200/2300, and a much fuller sound, there is still no EQ adjustment in the amp. Consequently, you may wish to run your keyboard through an inexpensive mixer such as the Alesis 6FX, which has both EQ and effects. The mixer cost $99 and well worth the price. Good Luck, Gary ------------------ Travlin' Easy
