Well, I guess some people have read about the NFL player ( punter) who cut (gashed) is leg with an Axe in the team locker room and is out for the rest of the season .
One of the coaches of the team put a wood block and an axe in the locker room to help motivate the team . " Keep chopping wood" was the phrase the coach would say to get his team fired up to win .

When the coach was asked about the punter , he said that it was purely "axe a dental" .
