can anybody help me by telling me of a good comprehensive editor on the pc for my lovely esi32 sampler as im sick of looking at a small screen.
any help would be much appreciated

You might want to check out SoundDiver by Emagic. They make a comprehensive editor for the E4 series, maybe they have one for the ESI.. ww2.emagic.de

There is no Sysex implementation to speak of for the ESI so I don't think there's a way of editing the machine remotely.

For remote using your esi 32 use a SCSI adapter at your computer and connect it with the ESI32- then use soundforge 4.0 to edit your samples at your PC and send them to the esi32 !!
