Dennis,
Thanks for noticing my error. I have fixed it.
The PF1000 is truly a wonderful Piano. There are three different types of sampling going on here. First, there is stereo sampling. Next, there is velocity sampling at low, medium and high levels to capture the different harmonic change playing at different levels gives you. Next, there is sustain sampling which captures when you use a pedal or play hard, the way the soundboard resinates. Last, there is note off sampling which captures the way a Piano stops sounding when the hammer returns to the string. In my conversation with Yamaha today we discussed how this is a magnificant piano first, and then a great arranger keyboard. It's interface is clearly the PSR2000. It really sounds great. This product will have very limited distribution so you might find them in a store like Guitar Center in some states but in Piano and Organ stores in other states.
