I spoke on the phone yesterday to the guy in charge of Pro Audio at Guitar Center in Boston and he told me, "Ev couldn't keep them supplied so that is why they discontinued the SxA 100's" and I assume the whole line of EV. He said he had one SxA 100 floor demo and one being repaired for sale.
Now, this other store Warehouse Music Supply, I think that is the name, is selling them for $429 because ther are closing-out the SxA100's also.
I wonder if EV is going to go bankrupt or out of business. Competition is tough today. Look at Mars Music.
The world is crazy. Just look at me and some of the other guys here on the forum. I won't mention any names just initials. DM, SY, UD, DP, FC, TC and others. Ha! Ha!
Maybe we're all nuts trying to play music for a living. Especially me after quiting in 1974 and trying to start up again at my age. Maybe I should buy some golf clubs and go fishing. No, not with the golf clubs, I could play golf with them. I'd use my fishing pole for fishing.
