I have a whole bunch of discs loaded with saved sequences from my ESQ-1. I would like to be able to transfer them to my Mac computer and view them with my Encore notation program (or at least be able to transfer them to a midi file format that can be read by my new Yamaha PSR1000.
Any ideas?

Thanks!

The only software out there that will do what you want is sold by Geibler. See http://www.midi-classics.com/Merchant2/m...Category_Code=S

Buying this is pretty much your only option unless you still have the ESQ-1 to play the sequences then record them over MIDI into a computer sequencer.

Thanks for your reply. I did try to send them over MIDI to the computer, but my program could not read them. I'll try the software route.
Thanks again!

That's odd ???? Any sequencer should be able to record a stream of MIDI data. I don't understand why that didn't work. What software were you running for a sequencer?

I was loading it directly into Encore, since it is a quasi-sequencer and notation program, on my Mac (OSX) The issue I had was getting all the tracks to show up on different staves at the same time. I could load in one track to one staff at a time, but that would be way too laborious.

Thanks for the reply!
