Can someone give me a clue...?

I have an ASR 10 keyboard but there have been so many advancements since I got it in 1995 that I KNOW I'm way outta the loop.

Can someone send me the latest OS with an explanation of what is new (as in capibilities) or mail me a link?

Also, can the ASR !) Keyboard read ASR X sounds and junk? Are they the same machine?? Is the ASR X Ensoniqs version of the MPC??

Furthermore... Ensoniq used to sell CD-Rs 1-16 that were full of great(?) sounds. Are they outdated now? Should I waste my money?
What CD Rom has contemporary R&B / Pop sounds formatted for Ensoniq?

Any of you have any of those CD Roms (other than the ensoniq ones) you might like to copy and sell cheap??

if you dig around in the archives at http://www.emu.com you'll find the latest OS... plus if you poke around the store, you'll find that they have old EPS and ASR-10 sample disks/Cd Roms on clearance...

as for you question about the ASR-X and the ASR-10, the ASR-10 can't read ASR-X files. I don't even know for sure if the ASR-x can read ASR-10 files.
