I got a pair of 15 speakers I love and a small powered mixer. Plenty of power for me. I even play my sax soft.

But I want an all in one keyboard amp with a mic jack and I want reverb. The lighter the better. I can live with 50 watts to play at retirement centers and such. I don't want heavy.

Anyone have experience with Fender, Crate, or other brands? I know Donny has the Barbetta and loves them but, they are more than I have to spend at present.

I see some of these brands on ebay for a couple of hundred or less. Should I stay away from any particular brands, models etc?

I'd appreciate anyones help here or comments.
If you'd like you may email me.

Thanks in advance,
Boo

Hello Boo,
You may want to look at the Fender PAssport system . Light weight and compact . 2 models are available 150 watts vs 250 watts . A single Amp will not provide stereo or much EQ.
Passport sell for less than $700.00 . This is what I would recommend . oneils4@home.com or GC 410 821 5200 . Dan O

Have a look at the 'Carvin AG100D' at
http://www.carvin.com/cgi-bin/get.exe?PAGE=detail&CFG=2&SearchStr=(I.ItemNumber='AG100D')+AND+(CID2='GA')

Its like a 3 channel mini PA system. With this unit you can have separate effects for a Keyboard and Vocals. Plenty of power for most nursing homes. You can add a second speaker also. A good product for the $.

Brickboo,
Sometime last year, someone I can't remember who,was bragging up a small amp. made by Carvin. Model AG100D It puts out 100 watts has mic input. It waighs about 40 pounds.
Has built in bracket to mount on stand. It has 3 chanels, one has hi/lo inputs for mic. My cat. is not new but it looks neat.
Get you a carvin cat. and take a look at it.
Hope you find what you want!
Good luck,
Nobby
"OOPS" someone beat me to it!
