I am about to sell my KN7000 and buy a Tyros 2. There are some styles on the KN7 that I would like to transfer to the Tyros 2, But --- I haven’t the slightest clue where to start. Any help would be appreciated.

John, if you email them to me I can convert them for you.

You will need a style conversion program Like EMC styleworks Universal, You might be dissapointed in what you hear on the T2 after that conversion also......I would try all the great T2 styles first & see what you can use or replace instead of the K7 ones which will probably sound alot better or you might have to really do a tweaking job on them

There are also some I did that did not get out. Originally everyone's version was going to be made available and it just fell through. I'll send you mine when I locate them. But, really, I think you will have more styles on the T2 than you'll know what to do with. Although I've got I'm sure over 10,000 styles, I only use one or two that are not onboard the T2.

Hi John,
you may be dissapointed in the results. KN7 styles don't convert terribly well to other formats. Don't know if you ever bothered using the style conversion disk that came with the kn7, if you did, it would give you some idea of what conversions sound like.
They usually require some fixing up.

I'd be really surprised if you couldn't find onboard styles in the T2 that would suit.

might be a bit of a bizzare suggestion,
don't know if mp3's are actually used for backing in a performance??? but it might be worthwhile recording a few backing tracks on your kn7 of your favourite songs. I'm sorry I didn't do it before I sold mine, but there again I only used it at home.

I don't actually have a T2, but I never really had a problem on my ex 9000pro trying to find a style that would work with a song. There's plenty around.
