The Rolands and the korgs have this. Is there a way to set up a multipad to handle this as there is no 'reset' button (like on the Rolands).

Please say there is......

Not sure what your question means ????, but If you mean you want to return to factory initialisation. PRESS and hold DEMO BUTTON whilst switching on the keyboard.

There's no initialisation. You can reset the machine completly by pressing

[EXIT] + [DSP4~7] + [SLOW/FAST]
while turning power on.
NOTICE!
All Data from Flash Memory will be lost!
Please backup all your data on Disks or HD before using this option.

If you simply ask for a MIDI-Reset:
You don't need one like Roland. The Machine always runs in GM Mode, if no XG-Header is available in a Midifile.

Thanks for the quick reply...
But i was talking about something else.
The RESET button for the rhythm. Basically if your rhythm is moving, and you hit that button, the rhythm starts at its first measure, no matter when you press it.
I didnt find this function anywhere on the 9000, and was wonderring if anyone knew OF one.

Thanks!

Unfortunately, there is no such button on the Yamahas. I have learned to use the Sync Start button to do it, but you'd better practice it a LOT before trying it on the job.

Hi,
use SYNC STOP and SYNC START simultaneously for this job.
Of course you have to practice a bit.
