Hi all. Can anyone tell me what the hell is happening? I'm adjusting midi files with system exclusive messages, and as I keep pressing playback after saving different changes I notice some instruments are getting fainter.

So I go in and look, and the the volume has dropped down?

What's stranger is it's happening also to tracks I haven't even touched, or barely anyway. Example: Changed one tracks instrument to slow strings. It started of with a volume of about 42 I think. After checking back after a few saves because of other tracks, it was down to 8???


Other ones I have gone into and brought it up to like 45. SAVE. Go back in and its at 37??

I just wonder : Do you have connected a computer with midi-cables connected ?

If yes and your computer has a midisequencer running with the THRU function activated this can cause a 'feedback' loop. It depends on your computer (what sequencertrack are you on) what midi-channel (number from 1 to 16) is echo-ed back into your keyboard.....

Please report this 'feature' to Ketron_AJ who recently asked for any problems or user-wishes that owners have.

If it is 'reproduceable' Ketron will fix it.
