Yes, of course. You can mute easily the parts that you don't want to play.

I don't know exactly how this could be done in a T2.
In my G-70 I would assign a small keyboard split to Upper 3, put it in "local off" and play the external module using the Upper 3 midi channel.

Thanks for ur help guys. The applause sound on the tyros is unfortunately substandard. Ive found a guy who is selling an sc88pro...and he is gona try and send me that sound as a wav file so my friend wont have to buy that module just for one sound. Lucky the tyros2 accepts wav files. Ill post an update here wen i get it and tell u if it sounds as gud as it shud and if the file is not too big then id be happy to email it to u guys. That roland applause sound is gold

Can you tell us what you actually do with the applause sound while performing, I'd be interested in knowing ?
