Hello everyone, just wondrin if anyone uses walkman minidisc players for playback of sequences at gigs. particularly if youve managed to add some kind of footswitch to control start/stop functions etc so as to leave your hands free. it would be a very light/compact way of reducing the load of gear to haul to the gig.
thanks..........

Vincent,
I do not use my minidisc for that purpose, but I must say they are quite versatile. I use one in my church music ministry. I really like it because you can bounce tracks and put them in any order, plus change the recorded volume after a song is recorded. It just works great for our application.

I use Sony MZ-R50 MD Recorder($100 on ebay), I wouldn't trade it for any other MiniDisc Player/Recorder
