Is it likely that the new TYROS2 Super Articulation voices and other Tyros2 voice improvements will become the baisis for the next generation of the MOTIF? Is there any correlation between the TYROS and the MOTIF new release timing? I'm just wondering how long it will be until we see a new Super Articulation MOTIF? Any thoughts?
My guess (and nothing more than a guess, at this point) is that we will see a new Motif at the Winter NAMM 2006 and it will likely have some of the features already present in the Tyros 2.

I'm willing to BET that the Motif will eventually include Super Articulation Voices too. NAMM 2006? . . . . Not sure if it's gonna happen 'that fast' though.
Interestingly, Yamaha's last newest sound innovation (Mega-Voice) was introduced on the Tyros first, and then later implemented in the Motif. Tyros1 was truly cutting edge keyboard in this respect, and Tyros2 appears to continue this trend with exciting 'Super Articulation' voices.
Scott, just to make you "salivate" a bit more ... yesterday I called my local music store and the first Tyros 2 has just arrived; it was only a demo model, but the first items for sale will follow soon...

It seems to make good sense that Yamaha would release these new technologies in the T2, gain feedback, perfect them, and then release them to the professional market in the MOTIF later on.
BTW, does anyone know why there doesn't seem to be much demand for a robust arpeggiator in the T1 or T2? It would seem to be a very useful option especially with the new guitar voices.
