Anyone care to chime in? I'm sorry I'm such a dummy with sound. Problem is, neither of my buds are very adept either. They know more than me but neither jumps in and solves it either! Assume:

SUMMARY: Yamaha psr2000, two acoustic guitars (maybe only one jack needed, see below), fiddle, two or three vocal mics

- me, psr2000, acoustic guitar, vocal mic

- Gary, acoustic guitar, vocal/harp mic (1)

- John, fiddle (vocal mic if we have a channel)

- Behringer UB1002 mixer. This has no effects, so, if possible, I'd like to run my mic through the psr2000. If that will work. The Logitech has RCA jacks out, but I do have adaptors (RCA to 1/4"). I look at this mixer and hmmm, it might not be enough.

- Logitech x-2200 speaker system. We did use this on a gig (trio) and it worked fine but I think on that gig, I didn't use the keyboard. (BTW, I have two of them, might be able to figure out someday how to use both simultaneously?)

I might be able to run my guitar through my psr2000. A y-cable can let me run the guitar and my mic into the psr2000 mic input. It works solo, I dunno about doing with the trio. Beats me.

Below is a top view pic of the mixer. If this mixer doesn't have enough inputs enough, advise please. And if you can tell me how to do this, be as specific as you can, else, I might now know what you mean.

If this won't work, would it work without the keyboard? (Yeah, I need another mixer but I can't buy one right now.)

Thanks for any help!

Bill,

No problem. Fire your vocal mic through the keyboard's mic/line in. Fire the keyboard's output via the RCA connectors through the mixer's tape in. Now you have all the other channels free for other instrments and mics. The mixer's stereo output is then fired directly into the Z-2200's input. All the volumes will be controlled with the mixer.

Good Luck,

Gary
