You might prefer the Kaces KKP9KB. I know a number of us use that one for the Tyros. The Yamaha bag is really BIG, at least it was for the original Tyros.

The Kaces case will fit sideways even in a small car. I use some foam rubber on top of the keyboard also.
.
Here's a thread that talks about it and mentions a few other ideas. http://www.synthzone.com/ubbs/Forum37/HTML/009891.html

I currently use a (Kaces Porter III, model #KKP9KB for my Tyros2 (albeit very snug fit front to back) and though acceptable, I don't like its freely pivoting handle because it constantly knocks on my knuckles when pulling the case around on it's built in wheels. That said, I believe the very best case (albeit costly) created specifically for Tyros2 is the:

Oostendorp Tyros2 Flight Case

I think it's even better than Yamaha's official Tyros2 case because it's lightweight, compact, & strong, and fits the Tyros2 keboard perfectly on ALL sides with no wasted filler space. The only downside, in addition to it's specialty case price (200+ euros) (at least for us who live in the USA), is the high shipping cost + import customs fee to the US. This is really the ONLY thing that has kept me from purchasing one (yet), as I have a friend in the Netherlands who loves his. That said, I may still eventually simply bite the bullet and finally purchase this case.

Hi Donny,

Does the Guardian case close with a zipper? I can't tell from the picture on the site.

Thanks!

Chris yes it has a heavy duty zipper all around.4 skids on the bottam to prevent rips plus handles...& inside there are 4 removable & adjustable Velcro dense foam cubes approx 8" X 5" that you can stick anywhere in side to adjust to the keyboard making it real snug too...great case.
