Over the years I've tried to learn all the great keyboard parts in roll. I would like to get your imput on great rock keyboard tunes. These are tunes where the piano/organ/synth is prominant. Exp: Blueberry Hill Fats Domino
Great Balls of Fire Jerry Lee
Lady Madonna Beatles
Whiter Shade of Pale Procal Harem
The Way it is Bruce Hornsby
Light my Fire Doors
You get the idea. Please add your favs and later I'll compile a list with all the other tunes I have.

What a great topic. Here are my favorites:

Rascals - Good Lovin - basic,clean, fun
Santana - Oye Como Va - great B3 solo - give it try!

A performer that may not be well known but did some outstanding keyboard (B3 and piano) was Lee Michaels. Give a listen to his version of "Stormy Monday" - but stand back!

Bill Doggett's Honky-Tonk. Goes WAY back.
Dave "Baby" Cortez - Happy Organ
Ray Charles - Wha'd I Say
Booker T - Green Onions
Del Shannon - Runaway
Animals - House of the Rising Sun
Just the first ones that come to mind.

Most of the songs I can think of have aready been put down, but if its rock stuff then you can't leave out

YES Rick Wakeman what a man, met him and he's a great person

ELO were great for keyboards

Pink Floyd heavy B3 and synth use

Genesys loads of keyboad riffs

Foreigner

Jefferson starship then Starship

more modern rock groups with heavy keyboard use Bon Jovi etc love their early hit Runaway and Marillion/Magnum both those keyboard players are fantastic live.

Great thread by the way, some classic songs

Good job guys but think of tunes where keyboard is prominent. You have a lot on my list but some tunes although great rockers ain't keyboard tunes. Like Prelude to Angey young man by Billy Joel or Honky Cat by Elton. Someone mentioned Lee Micheals how about Heighty Hi
