Most of you don't know me, except for Dano . I have been using my 2000 for about two months now, and really do think formthe money it's the best arranger keyboard in that price range. I do have a question that maybe someone can help me with. I have been setting up my own registrations to my satisfaction, but as of yet have not used the music finder which i would like to be able to edit to my own specs. Of course the manual tells me that i can do that, but it really does not explain in good old fashion english, how. Any help would be appriciated. Thanks in advance, Bob Lee

Hi Bob: Welcome to the PSR2000 fan club. I find the Music Finder a very useful feature. I use it to store the settings for my core repetoire of over 450 songs. If you have Microsoft Excel installed on your PC, I strongly recommend you download Fabien's terrific (free) Music Finder Editor utility program. This allows you to edit or create your own custom Music Finder database on your PC instead of on the PSR2000 itself: MUCH easier and quicker. Download Fabien's Music Finder Editor utility here:

I haven't been following the forum for awhile. As it turns out, I've been working on adding Music Finder lessons to the tutorial site Don mentioned above. I have completed lessons on the Music Finder system as a whole, Music Finder files (and how to get the correct song titles loaded), the Search features in Music Finder, and editing Music Finder records to make your own personalized database. There is a testimony there about the utility of the Music Finder from Scotty Yee. I will be adding two more lessons: one on using utilities for Music Finder (such as Fabien's) and a bonus feature that provides an expanded Music Finder database (with keywords to show which of 40 or so different "fake books" that particular song can be found in.
