I am thinking of buying a good headset wireless microphone. I'd really like to hook it directly to my psr3000 so I can utilize its vocal harmonizer feature. I read on the manual that I have to make sure to hook a Dynamic Microphone. This is the part that gives a headache, I have no idea the different between Dynamic and condenser microphone. I read some posting suggesting to buy Crown CM311A which is a condenser microphone. Will it work with vocal harmonizer in PSR300? If it will, why the manual suggesting to use Dynamic Microphone?
Thanks in Advance.

Fathi

ps. I am sorry if I hardly make a comment about any subject posted here, as a junior member I have to be a good listener first and what do I know about music anyway, I just started to learn.

Most wireless microphone receivers output at line level, so it doesn't matter what sort of microphone capsule is used at the business end.

I've been using the Crown 311-A for just over a year, it's a fantastic mic and works just fine with the 3000 because it has its own battery pack that supplies the needed phantom power.

Cheers,

Gary
