Has anyone encountered this problem? I have tried not to spike the volume so as to minimize this from happening when I "belt" out a song. Also, since I haven't tried hooking up to a PA, does the distortion come through in the PA, or does it just happen through the keyboard's speakers? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

If you set the input correctly, it should never overdrive. Try adjusting the input knob on the back of the 2000 and then, if necessary, turn up the mic volume. Also, you can activate the compressor/limiter and make it impossible to overdrive. DonM
