thank you , that's wonderful news that it works ok with the 5400rpm drive. The rest of the specs aren't a problem, I was just a bit worried my hard drive may not be fast enough.
I may go & do a bit more checking out, they had lots of demo's on the site, but I didn't want to get too excited just in case I couldn't run it.
I've actually got a top of the line Clavinova, but I'd luv a really good piano for my laptop.
Just wondering , did you ever check out any of the others ie NI's Akoustica, Steinberg's Grand??

Ivory is the best virtual piano software I have seen. It has three pianos. A 9 foot Steinway D, Yamaha C7 and a Bosendorfer Imperial Grand. There are many parameters that can be adjusted (stereo width, key noise, effects, sympathetic resonance, etc).
