Hello, I had more a year and a half my X1 HD with the 3.2 OS, I got it with the expanded RAM (both) sequencer and patterns too, and about 2 months ago began doing things like “ FORMATING FLASH RAM), of course all my user patterns and registrations said goodbye, I do have a back up of all those patterns/registrations, here is my problem, every time I try to load again the patterns/registrations, sometimes let´s me put 3 or 4 PATTERNS then in the display says “ pattern corrupted ” then comes the legend “Warning formating flash ram” re-setting itself (turn off, then on). I find it hard to believe, because I got long ago the USB styles/patterns for the X1 and loaded in the X1´s memory for more than a year without problems, I don´t want to depend only on the factory styles ( excelent, but not all I need for the kind of music I play ), or the MIDI files, what can I do? the nearest Ketron dealer ( Dallas Tx) is almost 20 hours drive from my city( Queretaro, Mexico) and there are not dealers in Mexico….. Any suggestions will be very welcome, in the mean time I´m saving for my SD1.
Thanks Manuel Dorantes

Hi AJ and thanks for the fast reply, I follow everything you said step by step, check all items OK ! , but at the time to try to load again the patterns/styles it did it again…..first freeze up the screen, I had to turn it off because just stay like that, then later I try it again (load the styles), this time “ warning flash Ram is formating “ or something like that, still in same conditions the X1, any other sugestions/advise…..will be appreciated, and thanks again.

Thank you Gunnar Jonny, I did download the 3.1a OS, I install it and try it, and is a little better, let me load 5 up to 16 then comes up a pattern/style that crash on my again, I just have to be carefull in what style/patterns do that to the X1, and load them selectibly, I think this possibly will work, Thanks again..

So if anybody has a similar problem, the answer is, to change OS ( in my case, I did to the 3.0, with the 3.1 I had still a little trouble, ) it works great, no more "warning flash RAM formating" or check sum error", etc. I uploaded the styles/patterns, made my registrations, no problem anymore, thanks to the guys that answer with suggestions/advise, they put me in the righ track.
P.S. I really like this Forum !! Great Job
