One of our business plans in taking over distributorship of the Ketron brand was to expand the dealer network,as people complained that the product is difficult to find in most marketplaces, So we have added some new dealers like B&H Photo in N. Y and we just opened up GUITAR & KEYBOARD CITY in Phoenix, We will have a keyboard clinic there in about 3 weeks for all players in Phoenix please go check out the great sounding Ketron instruments

Good Luck once people play a Ketron product coupled with good store support, workshops & Demo DVDs....it will be a happy happy time in AZ fror sure!!

I think Guitar Showcase in San Jose, CA on South Bascom Avenue would be open to a distributorship.
They have had a substantial keyboard department since the mid 80/s and have been in business since 1968 when I started trading with them.
San Jose is 1 million people and Santa Clara county is 2 million people. This is a big market for musicians equipment.

it has always been frustrating to me that there was no
Ketron representation in South Florida--the closest is
Orlando, 4 hrs drive. South Florida is a HUGE market and
has thousands of musicians. you have to be there!

There are 2 long-time independents in North Miami that
would serve you well, both on West Dixie Highway. One is
the father/son team of Sim/Ali w/ neighboring stores--
SIM Music 305 893-5772, and even better SPACE music
(son's store) 305 981-8945. Also, not far from those
is ABE music (who do not carry any kb's now). There is
also REFLECTIONS in south miami..they are great repair
shop/consignment sale spot..they are authorized Roland
repair center. might be best of all. talk to Charlie at 305 264-9916.
Tell 'em Mo Morgen from MoJazz recommended in any case....

I will reach out to these stores that you mentioned. You are right that we lack a dealer in the Miami area as we also lack dealers in most large markets. As stated we will correct this with time. Mostly we are busy now with setting up a website and when it is done we will aggressively pursue new accounts.

Ted please make a website that really showcases all Ketron products with demos, pics and VERY GOOD DEMO videos... its unimaginable that one of the best keyboards & modules on the market is not EVERYWHERE to be purchased.....the "What is a Ketron" mentality has to be turned around......I live between three major cities & its difficult to even find a Ketron product

I'm all for moving Ketron's all over the place to be seen. However, I have to question something. If you're seeking to "not" place the Ketron line in "Non Mega Chains".., keep in mind these smaller stores don't have the financial resources the larger chains do, so I can only imagine what the dealer cost would be to some of these smaller stores.

I imagine dealer costs and the little info available here in the US about Ketron would also deter some smaller stores from picking up the line for fear it may not sell. Just speculating here..............

I agree with Dnj that we do need to change the "What is Ketron?" mentality

Maybe a good PR firm is in order here ? Could be a stretch but in the end the sales will grow....also get some few good DEMO People besides just AJ to show the line all over the USA with Demo shows at malls, music stores, and clinics & the Internet....make people Want to get a Ketron product, make people HAVE To have a Ketron product by educating them with eyes & ears! And most of all have a top notch Service department that's very attentive to all customers needs, by email, phone, parts & service turnaround times.
