i know is an old question, but is there any way to convert an SVQ file into an mp3 or something that can be played in a computer?

Sure, connect your roland synth to your computer sound card, record a .wav file, and convert it into mp3. Or use the Roland to convert the svq into a mid file and then there are a couple ways to convert .mid to mp3.
