I have been thinking of buying the Digidesign Mbox. I will use it to make CDs of my keyboard and sax playing. I would like to hear you opinions about this product. How good is it? I am especially interrested of its sound quality. How good program is the Pro Tools LE? I would be very thankful of your opinions. I don´t know much about these studio things.

Bad news: My TYROS will arrive on the 10th of February. It should had been here almost three months ago.

Digidesgn is a very good choice.
Pro Tools is one of the best choices for PC, but only for Digital Audio. If if are going to need MIDI I recommed you not to choose Pro Tools but Cubase SX instead.
For MAC theres the Digital Performer 3 with is the best program I have haver worked with both for Midi and Digital Audio.

I looked into this setup myself. The guys at the GC say it's great. However, did you see the price of the effects??? The plug-ins you can purchase are priced from $299 to $2,699. That gave me the creeps. I'd like to buy something all in one and not have to purchase anything else.
