I 'wish' i could go too.
Oh well, I at least feel lucky that I was able to attend NAMM in Jan and provide you a full report with pics to boot. I
hope you guys: Technics Player (Alec Pagida), Ketron User, and other attendees from our arranger forum, will provide us with an inside report of Musik Messe with pics too ;
Of particular interest (in the arranger keyboard dept):
Technics: It's almost 100% certain the long awaited KN7000 will be premiered at Musik Messe. I hope to get a lot of KN7000 details (features, number of keys, mass storage device/type, etc). It will be even more fantastic if someone could provide exclusive pics of it as well.
Ketron: Could the new Ketron keyboard which Ketron AJ mentioned a few days ago here be premiered at Musik Messe? Possibly a 61 note version of the SD1?
GEM: seeking updated release date info and other developments regarding the Genesis.
Yamaha: Would be interested to hear the official line from Yamaha re: their sudden switch to non flash type rom on the PSR2000. Are they actually going to correct the OS bugs and when/how they are going to take care of us (the customers) in this regard?
Would also be interesting to find out if Yamaha decides to roll out a new top of the line arranger (PSR10K) now or not.
Roland: Will they release another VA series arranger now (with touch screen) or (hopefully) drop the touch screen approach? I hate the fingerprints.
Korg: It will be interesting to see if they have any new offering in the arranger KB dept. Possibly a newly UPDATED (enhanced?) version of the PA80?
Musik Messe
looks to be exciting this year. I encourage all you lucky attendees to take the time to check out ALL the arranger keyboard options and check out the booths of all the arranger keyboard manufacterers, no matter which brand/model may be your current favorite.
