Having problem with USB Pen Flash Drive. If formatted on 3000 the PC won't recognised the Flash Drive at all.
If the Flash Drive is formatted on the PC and then a file copied to the Flash Drive can not be seen by the 3000. If a file is copied from 3000 on to Flash Drive then the PC can not see the file.
This particular Flash Drive is a Mini King 128mb.

Can someone suggest a suitable Pen Flash Drive that is compatible with the 3000 & PC available in the UK.

Graham UK.

Graham,

I've been using the Lexar Jump Drives, which do not require formatting and they can be read by both the PC and 3000 with no problems.

Gary. Thanks the Lexar is one to the list to try.
The Floppy formated on the 3K is reconised by the PC and so is a USB Card Reader containing a SD Card. This indicates that the 3K USB is performing as it should. I can only assume that there is a problem with certain USB Pen Flash Drives. I have formatted the Pen Flash Drive to FAT and the problem still exists.
