The money has been sent out to Travlin'Easy, and I should have my PSR-2000 by Wednesday of next week. Gary lives very close to DanO's store and it's a two day delivery from there by FedEx or UPS. I'll keep you posted. Not sure if I'm going to post a review though. Most are up to the 2100 and 3000 now.

Jerry has emailed me about the his PSR2000. If I sell my PSR550, I should be able to afford one, but I'm heistant? Not sure why.
The fact that you have one also is an incentive.

Starkeeper, I hope you can sell your 550. Jerry has a good price on his unit. I wouldn't be hesitent in any way. The PSR-2000 is a huge step up from the PSR-550. I don't think you'd regret the purchase. I'll be sure to let you know my thoughts. I actually played the PSR-2000 before so I have a little head start here. It's a great sounding keyboard. Of course at the time it was way out of my league in price so all I could do was drool. I can't wait to get the unit in my home and in my set up. I'll be using my Casio WK-3500 as a controller for the 2000 as well. I'm so used to 76 keys now You really do get spoiled with them.

"The PSR-2000 is a huge step up from the PSR-550". I have absolutely no doubt about that. I may be hesitant because the board exceeds my talents. Would like to have 4 variatons though, organ flutes, expression pedal.
I have asked the following question numeros times about the WK3500 and no one responded. Please comment on the key feel of the WK3500. When I demoed it I found the key feel to be excellent and superior to Yamaha of course.
Was I dreaming? Maybe it was the postion it was in on the sales floor. It was tilted down.

If you look on Jorgen's website under PSR software, you'll find my XGworks updates for the PSR-2000. They're a bit more comprehensive than the 550 updates and include all the menus and effects.

Starkeeper, The action on the WK's varies really. The WK's have larger keys than the PSR's, and they also have a longer throw. However, some models (basically again you get what you pay for) over time tend to develop a little buzz noise from the keys. Mine has been infected with this on a lot of the keys. It's not really bad, and you get used to it after a while. It doesn't affect play, or isn't so loud that it will drown out the keyboard sound. Basically if you're a classical player and you play a lot of stacotto it may bother you. However there are a lot of beginners who bought the board and really don't seem to care about it.

Squeak, is this a mucanical buzz off of the key it's self or is it coming thru the speakers? My old PSR510 developed a buzz when you slide your finger of a key. I had to replace a pad that was suppose to catch the key as it came flying up! It was plastic hiting plastic, & it was doing it on just a few keys.
Couldn't be something this couldn't.
Squeak, I know that you will love your 2000 I know I do. I don't try to play for the bucks anymore. But I did for about 35 years.
Most of that time on a guitar!

It's a mechanical noise from the keys itself. It does not affect the sound from the speakers. When my warranty is out I'll break it open and take a look for myself. I'm very excited about the PSR-2000. It's no PSR-3000, but still a damn good arranger.
