I am looking to buy a stand for my Genesys XP to use while performing and I am considering the Quik Lok QL-400 mixer stand.

IF I ?#!@%#@* get my XP to work so that I can use it on gigs, I was considering a Karaoke monitor stand that has folding legs similar to a music stand. I looked at the mixer stand and thought that they were not very portable. The monitor stands seems sturdy enough for the XP and is a little more portable. I've seen a couple of DJs with TV monitors mounted on the stand.

Wow, thanks Jerry. Didn't know such things were available. I will definitely check out these karaoke stands as well. Haven't seen anything in person yet. Good luck with your XP. I'm still plodding my way thru the XP learning curve, relying more on this forum and the GEM forum for help than the poorly translated owners manual.
