Hello

Anybody out there have any style disks for the Technics KN1000 laying around you could possibly e-mial to me? I am especially looking for good jazz, swing, big band, blues, boogie, dixie. Also some good generic styles for standard pop dance tunes (8 beat, 16 beat, country, waltz etc..the ones that work over and over for any tune of that style).

I have found Gunnar Jonny's site, and his links to free styles. Wow, I didn't think you could get this stuff anymore. If there is some real good jazz, swing, etc., for pay I would like to check that out too.

This is my first post here and I must say this forum impresses the heck out of me.

Thanx

Also, is this the best place to post this, or should I be in the Technics forum etc.? I thought perhaps most everyone would come to this forum?

Scott, Welcome to the Arranger Forum! I will look through my box of floppies. I'm sure somewhere there are some KN1000 styles. It may take a while because I've changed computers about 5 times since I had a 1K, and I haven't had any reason to save them other than floppy.
Don't hold your breath waiting though!
You might try Dave Ross' page for more help. it is:

HI Scott, there are a number of people that have evolved through the Technics Keyboards over time on the technics forum. I am reasonable sure that some of them will still have some kn1000 floppies around. You should also post your request there and see what happens.
welcome to the synthzone

Hi Scott, and welcome to the "SynthZone gang"

I'll take a look to see if I can find any suitable stuff to update the KN1000 page in not too long....

If you visit http://www.ca-software.de/ you will find a lot of great stuff for your KN as well.

Regarding what to do if/when buy a new keyboard, there is soooooooo many posts about that issue, so if you look around at the SZ forums you'll find a lot of inputs who'll help you, or maybe even confuse you

Kind regards
GJ
