A suggestion ...... a question, really.

Do you have the ability to "send" a thread over to the Bar if it gets off course, here in the GenArr world?
That might be a good way to keep things in check, and on the business side. Just thinkin' out loud. Keep up the good (really good)work !

Yes I can do that Dave. obviously I would not want to have to be doing that manually all the time. But in special cases I can certainly do that.

This question is not OT. It relates to how things work on this and other forums here on the BBS. It would belong on any forum. It just happens to involve the new forum that's all.

Sorry Nigel, it wasn't my intent to step on your toes, it just upsets me to see everyone clearly testing their limits like they'd be excluded from the rest of us and be able to keep posting O.T.

No problem SYNTH_GUY I really do appreciate your consideration. While I do want to divert OT conversation to the new forum wherever possible I also don't want to become the forum facist We all need to be sensible about this. It's really not such a big deal. I certainly don't want to make people feel uncomfortable when they are posting that their post may be considered OT. But I do think sports related discussion can certainly move to The Bar now. Hey if think a thread is totally OT I won't delete it but just transfer it over there. I think that should work for everyone and avoids mindless censorship.
