I am running Z2200 speakers out of the main outs of a kn7000 by way of a Behringer Eurorack passive mixer, and a Ranes PE15 Parametric EQ.
My question is; since I have volume controls at the kb,the mixer, the EQ, and finally, the Z2200, would the combination overdrive the speakers.

Since the mixer and EQ are passive, I would think that you are merely distributing the different signals with the settings, but not adding to the whole signal strength, but I am not sure.

Bernie,

The only way to overdrive the speakers with the setup you described is to turn the keyboard's volume up too loud. Naturally, any speaker can be overdriven and blown, therefore, volumes should always be kept at reasonable and comfortable levels.
