Got a call for Dolphin Music in the UK today as I'd asked them to inform me when the're in stock... they have one brand new S900 delivered today so I've snapped it up and will be with me tomorrow...

compared to the 3000

Sad to say there's been a bit of a mix up in that the one I was supposed to be getting was earmarked for someone else so I'm on a waiting list now with no current delivery date from Yamaha... so I'm back to using my PSR3000 which unfortunately has suddenly developed a dead key 1 octave above mid C...you'll have to wait a bit longer guys ....sorry.

Oh man that sux.....have you ever tried to fix/replace the rubber contact cap uder the key on the 3k....thats all it is.

Yes I'm totally gutted about it...

Regarding the duff note, it dropped about and eigth of an inch then stopped working so the return tension seems to be gone so it needs an engineer to look at it.

How disappointing.......hang in there. The wait will be worth it, especially with the current 3K problems. Can't wait to hear your assessment.
