Hi Bill
thanks for the trip into the past!
What a real nostalgia trip that was.
You already know from our Skype conversations that I used to be a big Wersi Fan, I had a Wersi DX350 which had been built by a guy in Manchester. He made it just because he was a technician and wanted to prove to himself that he could do it.
He didn't know how to play it so I bought it from him him for the cost of the components (£450 in those days,1986) I fell in love with this Wersi and still long to hear the marvellous Organ sounds it produced.
Listening to your uploads was a real trip for me, thanks.
Nowadays of course, we have REALLY TRUE sounds of instruments, but in those days we thought the sounds of the WERSI could not be improved. How wrong we were. I still have the books which were used to build the DX350 and he even threw in the stool and the recorder he used to set it all up.Thankfully I made several tapes of the Wersi DX350 songs I played and I can still go on my own nostalgia trips!
cheers
Eddie
