Hi Chris at Gem. Is the dsp on the wk8 software programable and if so would it be possible to add via a software update a compressor/limiter to the mic/line inputs?

Officially the answer is that it is POSSIBLE to do but we do not plan to change any internal effects in future o.s versions. Our forthcoming arranger keyboard has a dedicated effects section only for the mic/line inputs which includes reverb, delay and a limiter. These effects are not shared with any other part of the instrument.
